Started by Brown University MFA Graduates Miranda Mellis, Kate Schatz and Tisa Bryan, the Encyclopedia Project is a book that takes the form of an encyclopedia and features artworks by artists who may not say, fit the traditional mold of what is often found in “literary magazines and reference journals.” It is a venue for increasing the visibility of artists and will consist of 5 volumes spanning A-Z which will be published annually.

The first volume which covers letter A-E, “are filled with original fiction, paintings, essays, plays, photographs, lists, prose poems, and video stills by 114 writers and artists.”

For those of you doing repeat pattern and CAD design, you can post your designs on the Naked and Angry website where they will be voted on by anyone who wants to vote. The designs that get the most votes will then be made into wallpaper….no need to post, you can just check it out to see what kinds of patterns people are designing……
